Nevada Governor Brian Sandoval visited Leipzig to promote the bilateral trade partnership between Nevada and Germany. Two of the central topics were the importance of cultural exchange and the German dual education system. A Letter of Intent was signed on a program for the development of a skilled labor force, and to create an exchange program for highly-skilled interns in advanced manufacturing.
