Cinema is one of the most powerful cross-cultural tools giving us a glimpse into new worlds and unfamiliar territories. This is exactly what movie goers experience when they attend the German Currents Film Festival. In the previous year, the festival featured movies that range from amusing and thoughtful themes as portrayed in “Almanya” to rather provocative ones as explored in “Drei”. Further, the chance to interact with the actors and members of the production teams is one of the Festivals absolute highlights.
